Hello, my name is Susan and I would like to welcome you to The Encouraging Times.com .

I am excited that you have stumbled upon this site and look forward to you finding inspiration, peace, and encouragement, while you are here.

The idea behind the website began one day when I was watching the local news on television and became flabbergasted at how much chaos was going on around the world and in my neighborhood.

Although, I believe people should be aware of what is going on in the world around them, I feel there should be a place where they can go to find comfort as well.

My husband builds websites and I asked him if he can build one for me and he agreed. So I pretty much told him what I envisioned and he brought it to life and I have been learning and managing this site and others ever since.

At The Encouraging Times.com you will find a variety of compilations that I have found while reading, talking to people, listening to the radio, or surfing the net.

Pretty much, whatever I find inspiring to me and feel compelled to share with my visitors is what I put on this site.

Keep in mind that I realize that not everyone believes the same things but, I also know that everyone deserves encouragement, regardless of denomination, religious background, or whatever each individual’s belief preference may be.

The purpose for the site is not to mock, judge, or prove anything to anyone. It is merely a place where everyone can come for inspiration, motivation, and encouragement.
